Our training program began on August 1, 2025, when we all got to know one another. Afterward, District Administrator Bernd Woide and the various committees introduced themselves to us. The public administration trainees also received their certificates, took the oath of office, and thus became civil servants.
After we took a group photo, the district administrator showed us around his office. Later, we went on a scavenger hunt through the building and learned new things about the Fulda district. We were given another overview of the Fulda district through a presentation. We ended the day with a game. On Monday, we began with the formal part of the program; we signed a lot of paperwork and learned a great deal about the training program. Shortly after that, the second-year trainees gave us helpful tips for the future.
In the afternoon, we took part in an escape game through the city of Fulda. The day ended with a group photo and a feedback session in the city. Tuesday was our last orientation day. We had the opportunity to visit the numerous branch offices of the Fulda district and learned a lot about the various activities carried out at those offices.
In summary, the last three days have been very informative, exciting, and a successful start to our future careers. We hope that the next few years will be just as exciting and educational as the last few days.
