Counseling services for HIV/AIDS, mpox, hepatitis, and sexually transmitted infections are available at Hessian public health departments and independent organizations (Hessian AIDS service organizations). Counseling is confidential, anonymous, and free of charge. Topics covered in counseling may include, for example, HIV testing, infection risks, infection prevention, fears of infection, and vaccination options for Mpox. In addition, comprehensive information is available on HIV infection, AIDS, other sexually transmitted infections, hepatitis, and Mpox. Counseling can be provided in person, online (via email or chat), or by phone.
At public health departments and AIDS service organizations, you can get an anonymous HIV test, as well as tests for hepatitis and other sexually transmitted infections. Your local public health department can provide information on the available options and whether an appointment is required.What documents are required?
