Traffic Signs and Traffic Control Devices
Service description
Traffic signs and traffic control devices are used to regulate traffic. They are installed by the authorities, and road users are responsible for obeying them.
Traffic signs include:
- Traffic signs,
- Road markings, lighting displays, and
- Traffic control signs.
Transportation facilities include:
- Barriers,
- Barrier posts,
- Parking meters and ticket machines,
- Railings, barriers, and guidance systems, as well as
- Flashing lights and traffic signal systems ("traffic lights").
All traffic signs are listed in the traffic sign catalog.
According to the Road Traffic Regulations (StVO), traffic signs and traffic control devices can be divided into the following groups of traffic signs:
