Waste: Disposal of hazardous waste (special waste)
Service description
The disposal of waste from private households, including problematic substances/pollutants, as well as disposal waste from other sources is the responsibility of the public waste management authorities (districts and independent cities).
Hazardous materials are types of waste that, due to their physical properties, must not be disposed of with household trash, as they may pose a health risk and/or have harmful effects on the environment.
Further regulations regarding hazardous materials are set forth in the individual waste disposal ordinances and fee schedules.
This includes, among other things, information on waste fees, waste collection schedules (collection intervals), and available pickup and drop-off systems (hazardous waste collection trucks, recycling centers).Procedure
