Service description
The demolition and removal of structures does not require a building permit. The demolition or removal merely needs to be reported to the building supervisory authority. The notification requirement does not apply to the following projects:
The complete or partial elimination of
1. installations whose construction, erection or installation would not require a building permit under current regulations.
2. detached buildings of building classes 1 to 3
3. other installations that are not buildings with a height of up to 10m
4. publicly owned facilities
Other approvals, permits, consents, notifications or other decisions remain unaffected by the exemption from approval. If, for example, the building is a monument, a permit under monument protection law may be required.
Prerequisites
In the case of non-freestanding installations, the stability of the installations to which the installation to be removed is attached must be certified and monitored by an appropriately authorized person. Work may not begin before the end of the one-month period.
Demolition or removal may not be carried out by self-help or neighborly help.
