A transport permit is required for the transport of weapons and/or ammunition. In this context, a distinction is made between import, export, and/or transit. As a general rule, the import permit from the recipient country (or transit country) must be obtained before the export can be authorized .

Provided all requirements are met, the import/export permit will be issued to you. This will be mailed to you along with the fee notice.What documents are required?

What fees apply?
Fees are charged by the firearms authority for applications for import/export permits. The fees under firearms law can be found in Section 7 of the Appendix to the Administrative Cost Regulations for the business unit of the Ministry of the Interior, for Security and Homeland Security.
