Study of Newcomers to the German school system
Mid-year entrants are students who enter the German school system during an academic year that is already in progress. In most cases, these are children and adolescents who have recently moved to the Fulda district from other countries and are subject to compulsory education.
Like the school entry examination, the mid-year entrance examination is mandatory and is intended to assess the development of children and adolescents and to determine whether a referral to a specialist is necessary.
Registration is handled by the school, and scheduling is handled by the public health department.
