Health-related counseling services

The vaccination counseling service at the public health department focuses on travel medicine. Here, staff answer questions about required vaccinations and other preventive measures, particularly in preparation for planned trips to tropical and subtropical countries.

In addition to travel medicine, we also address other questions related to vaccinations, for both children and adolescents as well as adults.

The consultation is free of charge and can be conducted anonymously upon request.

We provide counseling on HIV and AIDS, as well as other sexually transmitted infections, including counseling on and administration of HIV tests. In addition, we offer fee-based blood tests for other sexually transmitted infections.

An appointment is required for counseling and testing; anonymous testing is available upon request.
Cost of anonymous HIV testing: 15 euros.
Cost of HIV testing with an official certificate: 33 euros (not available anonymously).
