The Catholic Women's Social Service provides counseling on all aspects of childbirth and the baby's early months.

pro familia Fulda provides support in the form of pregnancy counseling, counseling on pregnancy-related conflicts, couples and sex counseling, legal counseling on separation and divorce, counseling on issues related to violence, and sex education.

donum vitae offers counseling for pregnancy-related conflicts, general pregnancy counseling, information on financial and social assistance, referrals for financial assistance through the Federal Foundation for Mother and Child, support in dealing with government offices and agencies, counseling and support regarding prenatal diagnostics, and counseling and support following the birth of a child.

Early Intervention Services in the city and district of Fulda are locally and regionally coordinated support programs for expectant parents and families with children ages 0 to 3.

The Counseling Center for Parents, Children, and Adolescents provides counseling on a variety of topics, including parenting and interacting with children, conflicts, problems at preschool, school, and in vocational training, separation and divorce, and many other issues.

The Early Intervention and Counseling Center offers assistance to parents who notice developmental or behavioral concerns in their child—for example, families with children who have developmental delays, are at risk of disability, or have disabilities. Support is provided from birth through the child’s school-age years.

The Mother-Child Health Retreat Counseling Service provides assistance with the application process. If you are experiencing significant emotional, physical, or health-related stress, you can apply for a health retreat through your treating physician and your health insurance provider.

The Federal Foundation “Mother and Child—Protection of Unborn Life” supports pregnant women in crisis situations to help them continue their pregnancies. The foundation’s funds play an important role in ensuring a good start to parenthood and complement the comprehensive psychosocial counseling available at pregnancy counseling centers. The Psychosocial Contact and Counseling Center of the SkF (Catholic Women’s Social Service) provides counseling and support to people with mental health issues and emotional distress. In addition, the center offers assisted living for people with mental illness.

Diakonie Fulda offers support if you have a mental illness, are going through a life crisis, or are experiencing emotional problems.

Die Brücke e.V. operates psychosocial outreach and counseling centers in Fulda and Hilders, offering counseling sessions and providing information on treatment options, rehabilitation programs, self-help groups, and other topics.

Social and life counseling is Caritas’s core service and the first point of contact. It is an open counseling service available to anyone seeking help.

The Social Psychiatric Service is a free, personalized, and timely counseling and support service for all residents of Fulda County. Among other things, it serves as a point of contact for mental health issues, mental illnesses, and mental health crises.

The pro familia counseling center in Fulda offers the opportunity to receive individual counseling from an attorney specializing in family law. Key areas of focus for the counseling may include: alimony, custody and visitation arrangements, allocation of the marital home, settlement of joint debts, pension rights equalization, and associated costs/eligibility for legal aid.

The Debt and Insolvency Counseling Service of the Caritas Association for the Fulda and Geisa Regions, e. V., advises people who are heavily in debt on negotiating with creditors and preparing for consumer insolvency proceedings.

The Debt and Insolvency Counseling Service of the Fulda District Association of Arbeiterwohlfahrt e.V. provides advice and support to people facing financial hardship. Its goal is to help them find a way out of their financial difficulties. To this end, it offers an open, free consultation service.

The Caritas Association for the Fulda and Geisa Regions, e.V., offers confidential counseling if you are unsure whether you have a problem with alcohol, drugs, medication, eating habits, tobacco, gambling, or internet use.

The Diakonie Fulda Center for Addiction and Outpatient Counseling provides counseling and treatment for people with alcohol, medication and drug dependence, as well as gambling addiction; it also provides counseling to family members, develops treatment plans, refers clients to inpatient detoxification treatment, to outpatient rehabilitation programs as an alternative to inpatient treatment at a specialized clinic, to inpatient rehabilitation programs, and to self-help groups.

Ärztliche Suchthilfe gGmbH raises public awareness about drug addiction and offers substitution therapy with replacement medications, outpatient detoxification, medical care in collaboration with the patient’s primary care physician, and qualified assistance.

The Catholic Women’s Social Service (SkF) provides counseling and support if you are threatened by or affected by physical or emotional abuse, or if you are being stalked by your ex-partner. Among other things, the SkF provides information on filing a petition under the Protection Against Violence Act and offers counseling on a potential process of change and the associated financial, legal, and practical issues.

SOLWODI advocates for the rights of women in Germany with a migrant or refugee background who have experienced hardship and violence. SOLWODI serves as a resource center for victims of human trafficking, sexual exploitation, and migration; for those who have been subjected to or are at risk of forced marriage; and for those who have experienced violence in intimate relationships or other forms of violence.

The Protection Clinic is a service offered by the Fulda District to improve the situation of victims of violence. Its goal is to provide individualized support to victims of interpersonal violence, taking into account their specific circumstances and personal situations. The Protection Clinic also serves as a point of contact for cases of violence in long-term care.

The HALTE.PUNKT specialized counseling centers, operated by pro familia Hessen gGmbH, are tasked with protecting children and adolescents from sexual violence and supporting those affected. This includes both prevention and intervention.
