Clinical Rotation
During the clinical rotation, students will work in various areas, such as hygiene monitoring, infection control, and school entrance physicals. They will also have the opportunity to participate in training and continuing education programs and to exchange ideas with other professionals. Since December 2023, the Fulda District Health Office has been an academic teaching institution of Marburg University for the field of public health and has since been authorized to train medical students during their elective tertial of the practical year (PJ). With this program, the Fulda District aims to provide insights into the public health service (ÖGD) and address the shortage of young professionals in the ÖGD.
As a medium-sized public health department, the one in Fulda offers students a good overview of the work done in public health and the opportunity to learn about its procedures.
During the elective term in Fulda, students live on the pings-Azubikampus. The Fulda district covers the cost of the room.
