Waste Disposal Fees
In addition to the costs of waste disposal and the collection of household and bulky waste, the costs of collecting and disposing of recyclable and hazardous waste must also be covered. The following fees are charged by the Waste Collection Association for the Fulda District.
Waste disposal fees for privately owned properties
The waste collection fee for privately owned properties consists of the following two components:
1. Basic Fee
It is charged for each person residing on the property and amounts to 2.70 EUR per month.
Exceptions:
- No additional fee for the third and each additional child in a household (upon request, up to age 27, if these children are enrolled in vocational training or college).
- No fee for individuals who do not form their own household but are part of a household as the fifth or subsequent person (upon request).
2. Container fee
The bin fee is charged based on the size and collection frequency of the trash bin.

Waste Collection Fees for Commercial Properties
Properties used for commercial or other purposes are subject to a "commercial waste fee," which includes a flat-rate charge for the property and for waste containers.

Recycling Center Fees
The following fees apply for using the recycling centers:

Note: By pre-sorting your waste appropriately, you not only avoid time-consuming and labor-intensive re-sorting when dropping it off at the recycling center, but you can also save on fees, since some types of waste are cheaper to dispose of than others. If you drop off all waste unsorted, it will be classified as non-recyclable construction waste.
Fees for delivering waste to the AEZ Kalbach
Waste generated within the Fulda district may be delivered directly to the Kalbach Waste Management and Energy Center for the following fees:
